Privacy Policy
Immplify passport and visa photo checker. Draft pending legal review. Effective date: October 14, 2026. Last updated: October 14, 2026.
The short version: we check your photo in memory, give you the result, and then it's gone. We never store your photo, never log it, never use it to train AI, and never send it to an outside AI service.
This policy explains what data the Immplify photo checker at tools.immplify.com handles and why. It is run by DocuComb INC. Contact: support@immplify.com.
Your photo
- Where it goes. Your photo is sent to our servers in the USA for processing.
- How long we keep it. We process it in memory only. It is never written to storage and never logged. The corrected photo is generated, delivered to your browser, and discarded.
- Who analyses it. Only models we host ourselves: a face-landmark model (to measure head size, eye position and head angle), a background model (to separate you from the background), and a vision model (to check things like glasses, an open mouth, uniforms and head coverings).
- No training, no outside AI. We never use your photo to train any model, and we never send it to a third-party AI service.
Face measurements (biometric notice)
To check your photo, we measure the geometry of the face in it, such as where the eyes and chin are. We use these measurements only to check and correct your photo against the official rules. They exist only in memory while your photo is processed, and are discarded straight after. We never store, sell, share or use them to identify you.
Before you upload, we tell you that photos aren't kept, and that by uploading you agree to our Terms and this Privacy Policy.
Other data we handle
| Data | Why | Who handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Card details | To take payment | Stripe only. Card details never reach our servers. |
| Email address | To send your receipt | Collected by Stripe |
| Payment reference and a small signed record of your check result (no photo) | So you can re-download | Stored in Stripe's payment metadata |
| Browser and device signals | To tell people from bots | Cloudflare Turnstile |
| IP address | Rate limiting and abuse prevention | Our servers, in memory only |
| Technical request logs (time, status, errors; never images) | To keep the service running | Google Cloud |
| Usage analytics: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type | To see how many people use the tool and where they're from | PostHog |
We don't have user accounts, so we don't collect names, passwords or profiles. PostHog uses a cookie to count visits; it never receives your photo.
How long we keep data
- Your photo and face measurements: never stored.
- IP addresses: not stored.
- Payment records (in Stripe): as long as we need them for tax and accounting, according to Stripe's policy.
- Server logs: [30] days.
- Analytics: [12] months.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the service: Google Cloud (hosting and photo processing), Stripe (payments and receipts), Cloudflare (bot check), Vercel (website hosting) and PostHog (usage analytics). They handle data only to provide their service to us.
We don't sell your data
We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
Photos of children
A parent or guardian may upload a photo of their child for the child's application. These photos are handled exactly like any other: processed in memory and never stored. The service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to know what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. Because we don't keep your photo, there is usually nothing about your photo to access or delete. For your payment record, email us at support@immplify.com and we'll help, including with Stripe.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Your photo exists only in memory while it is processed, which keeps the amount of data at risk to a minimum.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date. If we change how we handle photos, we'll say so clearly on the page before you upload.
