About this tool
Step 1
Drag your PDF (or images) onto the page, or click to browse. You can also reorder or drop pages first.
Step 2
Choose High, Balanced, or Smallest. Balanced is a great default; Smallest squeezes the file the most.
Step 3
Click Compress & Preview to see the result and how much smaller it is, then download. Nothing is uploaded.
Still over the limit? Split it into parts instead.

Shrinking a bank statement should not mean handing it to a stranger's server.
Most PDF compressors upload your file to a server to shrink it. This tool never does — it re-renders and re-encodes each page locally in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
No file, page, or filename ever reaches a server. Check your network tab — it stays empty.
Turn off your Wi-Fi and it still works. That is the simplest proof there is no upload.
No account, no copy kept, no watermark. Close the tab and it is gone.
No. Compression happens entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone.
It depends on the file. Scanned documents and image-heavy PDFs often shrink by more than half, especially on the Balanced or Smallest presets. You'll see the exact new size in the preview before downloading.
No. To shrink the file, each page is rendered to a high-quality image, so the output is image-based and text is no longer selectable. If you need selectable text, keep the original or use a lighter preset.
Balanced is the best default for most documents. Use High when you want the sharpest result with a modest size cut, and Smallest when you need the file as small as possible.
